Lebanon Country Office
Supporting conflict-impacted children and vulnerable families.
Lebanon was INARA’s first established office, and since 2015 we have been actively providing medical, surgical, mental health, and psychosocial support interventions.
We have also launched three Rapid Response interventions in Lebanon:
- Following the COVID-19 pandemic, to support vulnerable families.
- After the Beirut blast, establishing two emergency clinics at ground zero.
- During the recent conflict in 2024.
During the 2024 conflict, INARA focused on:
- Relief: Providing winter support, food parcels, hygiene kits, mattresses, and other essential relief items for those affected by war and displacement.
- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS): Offering MHPSS services for underserved children from different nationalities, including awareness sessions on body safety and other key topics.
We are currently implementing the ACWA Project in partnership with the Ghassan Abu Sitta Children’s Fund, UNICEF, and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
The project provides medical and mental health support to children injured during the recent conflict, alongside case management services, ensuring comprehensive care for those most in need.
