Maiwand Rohani is a strategic humanitarian leader with over 18 years of experience working with leading international NGOs and development organizations, including UNDP, USAID, DFID, GIZ, CARE International, Save the Children, ChildFund International, and the International Rescue Committee. He has led complex, multi-million-dollar programs in conflict and post-conflict settings, with a focus on health, education, livelihoods, and governance.
As CEO of INARA, Maiwand oversees global operations, fundraising, and the development of strategic partnerships to advance the organization’s mission. He is a certified PRINCE2 Project Manager with deep expertise in resource mobilization and program leadership.
Maiwand holds a PhD focused on the global immigration crisis, examining its impact on host societies and contributing to the development of informed policy responses.
