Lena Alfi is a strategic advisor and nonprofit executive with over 15 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations maximize their impact. She is the Founder and Managing Principal of Horizon Point Advisory, a strategic advisory firm that partners with nonprofits, philanthropists, foundations, and corporate social impact leaders to strengthen leadership, shape impact strategy and build organizations positioned for sustainable growth.

Previously, Lena served as CEO of Malala Fund, where she led a global team of experts and advocates and oversaw more than $22 million in annual operations across six countries. She has also worked in education, women and girls’ empowerment and humanitarian response with organizations like the Middle East Children’s Institute, Project Concern International, Vital Voices and Mercy Corps.

Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History and International Relations from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in Global Human Development from Georgetown University.
