Fundraiser for INARA

I’m running the full 42km marathon in the Turkish city of Antalya on April 6 to raise money for INARA, an organization doing vital medical, mental health, and community work in countries affected by human-induced and natural disasters.
At a time of faltering ceasefires and communities devastated by months and years of conflict, organizations helping people on the ground need donations and financial support more than ever.
INARA is a non-profit that provides access to life-altering medical and mental health care to children impacted by human-induced or natural disasters. These children are injured or traumatized by the horrors of war, in the aftermath of conflict, or due to unsafe living conditions or natural disasters.
They currently work in Gaza, Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Egypt, Lebanon and Türkiye.
Even after conflicts end, communities are left to deal with the fallout. They suffer from trauma, destroyed homes and livelihoods, and physical and mental injuries that they often cannot afford to treat. Inara steps in, providing funding and access to life-saving and life-altering medical and mental health treatment and other essential supplies – the things we take for granted but which are taken from people by conflicts and natural disasters that they did not cause.

I am aiming to raise $2,000 and am covering all the costs associated with running the marathon myself. All of the funds I raise will go directly to INARA to help those most in need.
