In a continued effort to stand by families in impacted communities, INARA’s teams in Egypt continue supporting evacuated and stranded Gazan children and families, distributing more than 2600 food parcels during the past couple of weeks, in addition to assisting in medical services, physiotherapy sessions, and surgeries.
Through targeted and need-based distributions, we are helping evacuated and stranded Gazan children and families meet their essential needs by ensuring their access to critical support amid dire financial circumstances.
Our team has distributed 2,600 food parcels in partnership with Human Concern International, ensuring evacuated Gazan families have access to vital nutrition. By easing the overwhelming stress and anxieties of daily survival, when meeting those families’ needs with essential aid and assistance, with their dignity preserved, we contribute to their mental health and well-being, too. Delivering essential support lifts the huge financial burdens of these families, allowing them to focus on processing the impact of their traumatic experiences and rebuilding their lives.
Moreover, our teams of medical professionals and caseworkers have been relentlessly assisting children under our care with the health services needed. This last week, we had three surgeries carried out on children receiving the necessary pre-operational and post-operational care. This is in addition to more than 60 physiotherapy sessions and 30 other medical services, including dialysis sessions.
In parallel to supporting evacuated Gazan families in Egypt, INARA’s teams are actively responding to the needs of children and families in Gaza, Türkiye, Lebanon, and Ukraine.
INARA’s teams remain committed to bridging the gaps for children and families in communities impacted by human-induced and natural disasters, thus ensuring their access to life-altering services and critical support.
