Gaza: Chickenpox spreads among children

Gaza, News

Like many children in Gaza, Hisham got chickenpox.

There are reports of a chickenpox outbreak in Gaza, along with other infectious diseases like scabies, lice, and respiratory illnesses. The outbreak is linked to the dire conditions in overcrowded displacement camps, where poor hygiene and lack of access to healthcare are contributing factors.

INARA’s medical tent in Gaza provides treatment and much-needed medication.

It helps alleviate pressure on the already collapsed healthcare system.

For many Gazans, this is their only access to treatment and medication; now unavailable on the market, even for those who can afford it.
