Please join Arwa Damon, Henry’s niece and the founder and president of the charity INARA in an evening hosted by Julia Byers and Steve Holtzman at THE BARN on AUG 3^rd at 7:30pm. 

Henry was a longtime ardent supporter of INARA, which was created after Arwa spend nearly two decades as a senior correspondent for CNN reporting from warzones. Henry and Arwa also shared a deep love for the outdoors, hiking, and taking on “crazy” challenges. They both trekked to Everest Base Camp when Henry was 75 and were planning on attempting to summit Kilimanjaro in 2023. 

We will also be celebrating the success of the “Inside Arts” pilot program undertaken by Julia, Lisa Kennedy Sheldon, and Michele Ferro during their recent trip to Beirut, Lebanon working with therapeutic arts with some of INARA’s most vulnerable children. With special thanks to Carol Bard, Kathi Lee Thornton and Nancy Fuchs
