Running for her life with her family in Gaza, Habiba couldn’t stop to pick up her only hearing aid as it fell and broke. Born unable to hear or speak, that device was her connection to the world.
Evacuated to Egypt, INARA took her case, fitted her with a new hearing aid, and is sponsoring her to speech therapy. Today, Habiba is smiling again; rediscovering sound, words, and joy.
