INARA’s team is working relentlessly on a daily basis, continuously assessing and addressing the urgent needs of displaced families across different regions of Lebanon.
Despite the local communities’ initiatives and efforts in addressing the challenges facing the significantly increasing numbers of internally displaced people, the gap between the IDPs needs and present responses, is still there.
While some families have been displaced to inadequate crowded shelters, others took shelter with their relatives, most of whom are under an already existing financial burden. This has left both host and displaced families in need of our support to provide essential and basic supplies.
Our team headed to the Bekaa region and distributed mattresses, pillows, blankets, food parcels, and needed medicine to conflict-impacted families in Baalbeck, and the remote villages of Al-Qaa and Ersal. In Ersal, one of the families that is under INARA’s care is hosting four other families, leaving them all at a dire need of basic daily life supplies.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to actively respond to their needs, ease the impact of their displacement conditions, and provide them with necessary support.
