INARA is a non-profit that provides access to life-altering medical and mental health care to children impacted by human-induced or natural disasters. These children are injured or traumatized by the horrors of war, in the aftermath of conflict, or due to unsafe living conditions or natural disasters.

INARA is looking for a dynamic and creative copywriter with native level proficiency in English language to join the communications team.

As a Content Copywriter at INARA, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives and impactful messages to engage our audience, drive awareness, and inspire action. You will collaborate closely with the communications team and various departments to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with the organization’s goals. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for storytelling will be instrumental in advancing our mission.


Content Creation:
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of platforms including website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, reports, and fundraising materials.
Develop engaging stories (for videos and other multimedia formats) that highlight our programs, initiatives, success stories, and impact on communities
Tailor messaging to target different audience segments including donors, volunteers, partners, and the general public.

Content Strategy:
Work closely with the Content creation officers to develop and implement content strategies that support INARA’s organizational objectives.
Research and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant topics to inform content development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels and aligned with brand guidelines.

Editing and Proofreading:
Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
Proofread materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors before publication.

Campaign Support:
Contribute creative ideas and concepts for awareness campaigns, fundraising appeals, and advocacy initiatives.
Assist in the planning and execution of content-driven campaigns to drive engagement and achieve campaign goals. 

Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze the performance of content across various channels using analytics tools with the help of the social media officer.
Use insights to optimize content strategy and improve engagement metrics.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related and relevent field.
    Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the humanitarian /non-profit sector or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
    Strong storytelling ability and creativity to craft engaging narratives.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for online content.
  • Proficiency in digital content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.


The copywriter will report to the Director of Advocacy directly and will work closely with the Senior content creation officer and the rest of the communications team
