Kim Kelaita

Board Member

Kim Kelaita is a freelance producer for CNN International. She produced CNN’s monthly show Market Place Middle East. She also produces news segments on local and international events and news stories in the Gulf region.

As a producer and reporter, Kim is renowned for securing high-profile interviews, having gained CNN’s first exclusive interview with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for CNN’s World Business Today.

Before moving to Dubai, UAE, Kim worked as a reporter at New York 1’s 24-hour news channel and started her career in New York City at NBC’s “The Weekend Today Show” and was an NBC Page called NBC’s coveted fellowship program.

In 1994, Kim was nominated for a New York Emmy Award as a reporter and producer on “Police Suicide” for an outstanding Multi-Part Hard News Story.

In addition to her “day” job in television, Kim is also a former co-founder of Landmark Properties, sold in 2008. She is a board advisor to Nomad Homes. A tech real estate company that will change the way real estate is bought and sold in the region.

Since 2016, Kim has moderated regional panels focusing on oil, gas, and energy. Moderating at many global conferences, including KPMG’s AGM, DUETS-FIM, Abu Dhabi Ports Authority, Abu Dhabi International Petroleum and Energy Conference (ADIPEC), EGYPS 2017, Thyssen-Krupp, and Elevate’s Women’s conference.

Kim served on a board of trustees at the American School of Dubai from 2015 to 2018. In that role, she worked on community relations, development, and governance.
